Membership is free and easy
It’s free and easy to become our member. You just need to fill out an online registration by clicking the button below. Both children and adults with a Norwegian personal identification number can become our members. Youth above 15 years do not require permission from their parents, if they choose to become a member.
Are you already a member of another religious community?
- If you are already a member of another religious community and wish to become a member of Hikmah Norway, you must unsubscribe from that religious community. Use this form: Cancellation form
- If you are unsure where you are a member, you check it at https://person.brreg.no/ or calling brreg on 75 00 75 00.
- It costs nothing to be a member of a religious community.

Do you know?
- According to § 3.3 Affiliation and membership in the Church Act, children automatically become members of the Church of Norway.It is therefore important that you as a Muslim register yourself and your family members in an Islamic religious community.
- According to § 3.6 Belonging and membership, children over the age of 15 can register themselves in or out of a religious community (incl. The Church of Norway).
- All registered faith and belief communities receive support per member from state and municipality corresponding to the allocations to the Church of Norway per member.You must deregister yourself from the State Church or the religious community in which you are registered.
